Apple Pie Recipe

Ingredients

½ cup apple juice
½ cup white sugar
½ cup butter
6 Golden Delicious apples -peeled, cored and sliced
½ cup white sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 (9-inch) unbaked pie crusts

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Combine the apple juice, 1/2 cup white sugar and the butter in a saucepan and heat until melted. Add the apples and cook until the fruit is tender. Combine 1/2 cup of the sugar with the cornstarch. Stir into the fruit mixture, then cook until thickened. Cool then pour into the pie shell. Cover with the top crust and seal. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) until golden brown.
